TOUR GUIDE CERTIFICATION COURSE Step 1: Prep Course: Take a quick pre-course to familiarize yourself with the technology you will use during the class and on the road. Step 2: Self Study: This building block lays the foundation for your new career and prepares you for live online training. Step 3: This 3-day weekend (live online instructor-led) Tour Guide Certification Course training program is where the magic happens. You will be able to learn and practice skills like storytelling, commentary, tour planning, routing, technology, and public speaking for walking tours, local events, food/wine tours, and much more. The Tour Guide Course is a stand-alone certification program for people pursuing a career as a Tour Guide. TOUR DIRECTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE Step 1: Online Self-Study: Receive an introduction to some essential Tour Director concepts with self-paced lessons, assignments, quizzes & much more. Step 2: This 3-day weekend (live online instructor-led) Tour Director Course expands upon the information you mastered in Tour Guiding. You will learn and practice the necessary skills to take groups of people on an over-the-road adventure as a master storyteller and people person extraordinaire, all while seamlessly managing the necessary logistical details. Step 3: The high point of your experience is when you finally meet your fellow students face-to-face on an in-person training with our master instructor team. Attend a multi-day experience that includes practical application of everything you have learned so far. You will practice and hone your skills in real-life situations, including an “over-the-road” portion on a luxury motorcoach. When you finish the Course, you will have received the most comprehensive and up-to-date training in the travel industry.
